Fusion has been assisting NIKE Manufacturing Partners since 2018 as part of the NIKE (CoSMA) Culture of Safety Maturity Assessment Program. This has allowed us to work with companies from all around Asia, including, China, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. It has been an absolute adventure, to be given the opportunity to work in countries with such rich cultures filled with amazing people, such as Vietnam. During this time, it has brought Fusion across Vietnam from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City to more remote provinces on the outskirts of Saigon and Hanoi.
As part of our tailored CoSMA Program, Fusion has been able to offer a whole suite of products, including our ISO 45001 Consultancy, IOSH Managing Safely, our proprietary Culture Change Program, and most recently, we have been able to offer our newest flagship product, the Hero Code Project.
The work we have done in Vietnam has been rewarding, to say the least. Being able to visibly improve lives through building a safety culture, has been amazing. We have always been left impressed with how there is always a real eagerness to learn and how engaged and committed they are. But it must be said, the most rewarding part about Fusion’s experiences in Vietnam must be the relationships we have built and all the amazing people we have met through the CoSMA journey. I have personally learnt so much about Vietnamese culture, which I have learnt to love! The food, the warm Vietnamese hospitality, and the vibrant lifestyle. It has been a privilege to be able to get to experience all of these whilst we help to improve lives.
These experiences in Vietnam have not only given Fusion the platform to improve lives, but on the flip side, I truly believe these experiences have improved mine.
